During the presentation, Verizon announced a $15,000 grant to Operation Homefront Georgia, which supports Georgia’s military families during their loved one’s deployment.
Operation Homefront (OH) supports personnel from all branches of military service. Through public support and partnerships with others, OH provides direct services to military families and individuals with unmet needs, alleviating hardships through financial assistance, counseling, and recovery support.
“We are proud to support Operation Homefront Georgia’s tireless work on behalf of Georgia’s military families,” said Jeff Mango, president – Georgia/Alabama Region, Verizon Wireless. “The daily sacrifices these families make as their loved ones protect and serve our great country often go unrecognized, and to them we offer our deepest gratitude.”

We thank Verizon Wireless and the Atlanta Falcons for putting a much-deserved spotlight-tonight and throughout the season, on the Armed Forces and their loved ones.”
